My Approach: Since 1989 I've found that a simple and straight forward business method is fair and works best for me and for my clients. I use top of the line professional Nikon digital SLR equipment (with much redundant back up equipment of course.) If you hire me to document your wedding, I am your photographer. I don't hire out assistants to do my photography for me. If I use an assistant, they will usually only assist me with MY photography. If I hand an assistant a camera as a mentor, any photographs that they make at your event will be at your disposal, but I am hired for my time and talent and my clients get both at 100%. I dress and act in a completely professional manner and am often very helpful outside the duties of a photographer as well as priding myself on being completely flexible to your photographic desires throughout your day. So in review, for a simple and fair price, my clients get top of the line professional service and share complete ownership of all of their event images. For my part, I am paid equitably for my costs, my time and service and I always have a lot of fun shooting an event. Mark Twain said that the secret to success is to make your vocation, your vacation. This is why I'm still having to sadly turn work away every year after so many years in the business.
